When did we leave Bucharest?
We arrived in Cyprus on 31.12.47
The Aegean sea and the British takeover took 3 days ?
From Burgas until we left the Dardanelles 2 days ?
In Burgas we waited 3 days until the trains from Transylvania arrived.
From Bucharest to Burgas - 2 days.
    A total of 10 days,
This makes day of departure on December 21 , 1947.
At this time Andrei Vishinski, the Soviet Foreign Minister
came to Bucharest and made an offer to King Michael .
     An offer he couldn't refuse.
He abdicated on December 30 , took his bags and left.
By then we closed in on Famagusta.
The Pan Crescent, our sister ship , had boiler trouble
      and came limping in too.
