Andy, I am sorry I do not know details about him, but I knew another family
Todres, there were 2 sisters, one was Toni, the other I do not remember her
name, Toni married and emigrated to Israel, I do not know her name after her
marriage,I guess she died already, she was some
10 years older than me and was a friend of my aunt..Nobody is there to
ask..I guess you meant near the Pruth???

Hedwig, do you know anything more about the man named Todres? My maternal
grandfather was Adolph Todres. He died at age 27 from pneumonia around 1910
when my mother was only two or three years old. He had a brother named
Hermann, a big robust man who lived down near the Danube. I don't know of
any others. He could have been a relative.
