Hi Christian,

You write:

"There is a narrative from this three nations, depending on their
fate. Sometimes these voices sound like a choir, sometimes like a
cacophony. Visitors can learn about diversity in Zhovkva."

Unfortunately the choir voices can be and are heard mostly by outside
listeners, the voices from within still listen to their own melody
and often repeat it in the same way they sang it in the past. This is
the classical way of all flesh, expressed in modern music
cacophonicaly as you very well say, only by insistence to hear one's
own dominant voice.

It is difficult to enjoy foreign music if you closed your ears to it
when you were a child. You really have to be a good musician to like
that.

The picture of Zhovkva was compelling - good work.

Berti.

As the nearby Lviv (Lwow, Lemberg), the town’s streets tell about the multiethnic past of Galicia – in a smaller scale than the imposing Lviv. The town has a touristic future. Jewish, Ukrainian and Polish heritage would be part of it. Including one of the most beautiful synagogues in Galicia.
