[Cz-L] How to put links that work into your posts

Czernowitzers...

Lately we have been getting quite a few posts with links in them that
just don't work. If you don't post in Plain text, and you have links in
your post, there's a very good chance that the links won't work after
the post is processed.

Sometimes the moderator can spot the problem and make the link work, but
often times they cannot, and so the post ends up getting rejected.

It is up to you to make sure your links work BEFORE you send the post!

Here's how to check the link(s) before you send the post:

1. In your mail programme, Save your post as a Draft.

2. Then go to 'Drafts' and look at your post. You should see your link,
and you should be able to click on it, and it should work.

3. If the link doesn't work at this point, there's no sense in sending
it until you get it right.

4. If the link is long (takes more than one line), use the service at
http://www.tinyurl.com or its equivalent to shorten the link down to a
manageable size.
