I fully agree with Hardy Breier's comment regarding the need to notify the
worldwide community of Yiddishists, scholars and any other people
interested in Yiddish culture, literature.
I am not sure whether it should really be part of the 600 years celebrations
that the present Mayor is trying to organize for 2008. I am almost sure
than 600 years ago there was not one single Yiddish speaking person in
Czernowitz........
