My late father, Yehudi (Yuda) Fichman, used to talk sometimes about a friend
that he admired from school days onward, whom he always called Kogan. Might
you be that 'Kogan' ?

I am not sure whether it should really be part of the 600 years celebrations
that the present Mayor is trying to organize for 2008. I am almost sure
than 600 years ago there was not one single Yiddish speaking person in
Czernowitz........
