Dear Zev,
I never spoke about my personal preferences on list topics. I spoke about the duties of moderators. I do not know much about American laws, but European laws say that as long as something is moderated or supervized, the moderator or webmaster is personaly responsible for every post in a legal sense. Not very funny as you may imagine.
If you are interested in my "personal taste", I can assure you I'm not interested in genealogy. Instead of this I'm interested in the "CZ oriented matters" in the sense you quoted them. Genealogy I skip. So let us not construct contradictions that do not exist.
I can fully agree when you say "Hardy must definitely remain a central pillar of this list". I - like everybody else - want him to return. "Pillar" describes Hardy very well.
The air is already "spicy" enough. Let's all come down.
Christian
