Zev...
Thank you for your mail and your appreciation. I'm subscribing unconditionally to your statements concerning Hardy's significance for our discussion group and even to the variety of topics covered by the different contributors. As Christian, I didn't disclose my personal preferences on list topics, nor did I ever claim any Czernowitz related subject as being off-topic. No need for artificial contradictions, as long as we still do have real ones.
I don't agree at all with your rating of the moderation effected by Bruce and Jerome, which in my view is accurate, liberal and sensitive. Name it moderation or censorship, it's up to you, but please keep in mind, that based on this - rejected - moderation/censorship
the Czernowitz-L Discussion Group - the Ehpes Website - the ehpes.com Blog
became success stories with a continously increasing number of mailings, data and postings. I'd like to reaffirm my previous statement, that at the end of the day
"...thousands mails at our archives, a vast number of data bases, documents, stories, photos, testimonies, links, etc., more than 250 posts at our ehpes.com Blog, that's the COLLECTIVE MEMORY our group stands for and nothing else matters."
Following the unpleasant and polarizing "Reslience/Discrimination" discussion, I'm considering this thread being even more destructive and self-destructive, not very atypical for Czernowitz, but not only. However, admitting my frustration on the "State of the Union", I'm aligning myself to Sylvia's excellent appeal and by this mail I'm concluding my postings to this particular thread.
Warmest wishes to all of you!
Edgar Hauster
