I need more help. I mentioned before that one of the Jewish cemeteries
I thought of recommending for cleaning was the one in a village
formerly called Stanesti de Jos or Stanesti. I was there a few years
ago,
but now have no idea what the two villages are called in Ukrainian.
By googling Stanesti, I found a website in Romanian, which gave
a lot of information about the Romanians killed by the Soviets.
To find out about the massacre of the Jews of this village in 1941.
you need to access:
<http://www.holocaustrevealed.org/_domain/holocaustrevealed.org/Romania/Matatias/Transnistria2.htm >
I think that it is particularly important to maintain the Jewish
cemeteries
in those villages where the Jews were massacred.
Please help me find the current Ukrainian name of Stanesti.
Mimi
